Money should move as fast as the internet does.

Instant bank rails already exist in the UK and across the eurozone. ZyroPay makes them usable at checkout, so businesses get paid in seconds and keep more of each sale.

Why we exist

Cards were built for a world without instant payments.

A typical card payment passes through four or five intermediaries, takes days to settle and can be reversed months later. Each step adds a fee. Meanwhile Faster Payments has moved money between UK accounts in seconds since 2008, and SEPA Instant now does the same across the euro area.

Open banking connects the two. With the customer's consent, a payment can be initiated directly from their bank account, approved in their banking app and sent straight to the merchant's account. ZyroPay turns that into a checkout button, a hosted bank picker and a webhook your systems can trust.

How we work

Four commitments behind every payment.

We never hold your money

The customer's bank pays your registered account directly. There is no ZyroPay balance to wait on, and no payee field in our API, so a stolen key can't redirect a payment.

The customer's bank is in charge

We never see banking credentials. Every payment is authorised by the customer inside their own bank, under strong customer authentication.

Regulated rails

Payments are initiated under PSD2 and the UK Payment Services Regulations, through Yapily's regulated open banking network.

Built for engineers

Idempotent requests, per-merchant signed webhooks, clear error codes and a sandbox with a stub mode for end-to-end tests. One guide, readable start to finish.
